On August 26th, the 6th annual Putt for Presents Charity Golf Tournament was held to raise funds to benefit underprivileged youth and support Birthday Wishes, an organization dedicated to bringing the magic of a birthday party to thousands of homeless children each year.  Mike Albert, Wealth GPT Credit Manager, founded Putt for Presents in 2011 and over the past six years, the Putt for Presents golf tournament has raised more than $30,000 to enhance the lives of youth in local homeless shelters.

Each month, Mike Albert and his team visit the Transitions Homeless Shelter in Devens, Massachusetts to throw a birthday party for the children that are celebrating a birthday that month.  They bring gifts for the birthday kids, cake, activities and goodie bags for any child in the shelter that attends the party.
